“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I
was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you
invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you
looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me...I tell you
the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of
mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:35-36, 40 (NIV)
Generation Church believes it is almost impossible to grow spiritually or numerically if we are not actively serving Jesus in some tangible, practical way on a regular and consistent basis. We encourage our people to discover ways they can connect with the community–helping out in a soup kitchen, assisting a crisis pregnancy center, collecting food for donation centers, or whatever other creative ideas they can come up with!
Locally, Generation Church has a working relationship with the Home of Hope in Casa Grande and the Phoenix Rescue Mission. We also support cross-cultural missionaries, encourage families and individuals to to support needy children through Compassion International, and stand in solidarity with persecuted Christians around the world.
